Education:
MS in Chemistry (focus in Organic Synthesis and Computational Drug Design), University of Southern California BS in Chemistry, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
Background:
I have been with Project Farma since January 2024 supporting CQV activities for QC and production equipment. Prior to joining the PF team, I have over nine years of lab experience in chemistry & biochemistry research and development and two years of experience in manufacturing sciences and technology (MS&T) supporting tech transfers within the biotech industry. I also have five years of experience teaching science to students from kindergarten through college.
What excites you about being a mentor?
I’m excited about the chance to deepen my leadership skills through mentorship. Helping other navigate challenges and grow professionally allows me to practice guiding with empathy and providing constructive feedback, which are core components of strong leadership. Leading by example within our PF team helps me contribute directly to our collective success by sharing lessons and insights I’ve gained. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch a teammate gain confidence, tackle new challenges, and see our team culture strengthen in the process.
What are you looking for in a mentee?
I’m looking for mentees that bring inquiring minds and are eager to ask thoughtful questions and explore new ideas. I value a strong drive to grow and learn, with motivation to set ambitious goals, embrace challenges, and continuously seek opportunities for development. Above all, I appreciate open communication, where sharing success, struggles, and honest feedback allows us to collaborate effectively, adapt our approach, and ensure steady progress toward their professional aspirations.
Hobbies/Fun Facts:
I’m a big puzzler (jigsaw puzzles, logic puzzles, crosswords, escape rooms — you name it). I also have the cutest dog ever — his name is Cosmo and he’s a Maltese.
