What excites you about being a mentor?
I really would like to share the experiences in my career and give advice to others to make their paths easier. I think having discourse about your career from an early stage is beneficial and gives valuable insight. Also, I think this is a good step in becoming an effective and compassionate leader of people.
What are you looking for in a mentee?
I am looking for someone that is curious and willing to have a discourse about life, not just work.
Hobbies/Fun Facts:
I grew up playing soccer and basketball but have an interest in most sports (football, hockey, tennis, etc.). I enjoy listening to music of all genres; as of recently, I have been going to a lot of live music shows in San Diego. I enjoy the outdoors or being outside as much as possible. Additionally, my family immigrated from Uganda and I consider that a big part of my identity as well.
